Creativity Tuesday: Love Unites

Love is in the air, can you feel it?

Welcome back to Creativity Tuesday, a new recurring post that I hope inspires your creative side through beautiful photography and art. Each Creativity Tuesday post will feature a different photographer or artist, and will give you an opportunity to practice and improve your writing skills. Using the photo provided, allow your mind to wander freely as you decide what to write. I’ll provide you with some questions to guide your thinking process if you get stuck; however, the object of the post is to get you thinking….outside the box.

If you scroll past the image, on the bottom of each post, you can read a bit more about the photo. You may see some details about the photographer,  details of where a photo was taken, the imagination behind the art, or a fun story related to their image! You can practice reading and writing with this section of the post, and once you’ve read, you can respond to your thoughts of it. This will give you even more writing practice.

I encourage you to share your writing, as a way to receive feedback. There are plenty of ways to do it, so here are some of the ways you can share your writing with me (and others):

  1. Start sharing your Creativity Tuesday posts on your own blogs and linking it back (“pingback”) to my post. When you link it back to the post, I will not only be able to see it, but I can add it to a resource link at the end of the blog. You gain more exposure for your site, receive feedback from me, and improve writing! It’s a triple score!!
  2. Write your answer in the comment section to share with everyone! Allow others to comment and interact with you, and give yourself the opportunity to receive my feedback!
  3. Share your text via social media and tag me! @jenesl760 You can write the file in a doc, PDF, or other format and upload it to your social media site (or include a link) to share with me and the world! That’s what social media is all about, right?!

Feel free to explore previous Creativity Tuesday posts, so far there is only one, but check it out here.

  • Use the photo to create of story of what you see: where is the photo taken? What’s the event? Who are the people in the photo? Check your knowledge of relevant vocabulary.
  • Go beyond the obvious in the photo, what colors, shapes, or other things do you see? What inferences about the season, weather, etc…
  • Write about your experience with similar events like the one in this photo.

If you would like to read about this image, then keep reading below. Remember you can also respond to the description, writing your own thoughts about what you read, summarizing what you understood, etc..

*NOTE: If you would like to first explore your own creativity, then STOP here and don’t continue reading until you are finished*

“A beautiful collision of family, culture and love.”

I am honored to share with you, my wedding! As cliche as it sounds, it was a magical day, one of my favorite memories and very worth the months of planning, DIY (do-it-yourself) decoration making, and stress of almost every last detail. My husband and I were beyond ecstatic (extremely happy) to have friends and family from all over the world attend, 6 nationalities were represented with the language barrier being overcome with excitement, love, open arms, and maybe some adult beverages. If you’d like to imagine the event, picture splashes of mustard yellow, vintage and eclectic decor, wildflowers, globes and maps, cameras, market lights, bunting banners, and a whole lot of burlap.

Feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, and texts with me as I am delighted to share such a special day with you!

I hope you enjoyed this post, and as always…

Happy Studying! ♥

If you enjoyed this writing opportunity, the image, or Creativity Tuesday in general, please share this post with someone who will love it as much as you! Thanks! xoxo
